Sustainability

Sustainability is at the core of my practice. Early in my career, I transitioned to using 100% reclaimed glass—initially as a cost-saving measure, but ultimately as a commitment to environmental responsibility. This shift sparked a deep exploration of material reuse, leading me to establish a rule: every piece I create must incorporate reclaimed or recycled elements.
My work gives new life to discarded materials. Wall sculptures feature hand-crushed, repurposed picture frame glass. Screen prints are produced on recycled paper. Waste from one project is often repurposed into another. These sustainable choices are not just aesthetic—they are conceptual. They challenge perceptions of value, inviting viewers to reconsider what is precious and what is disposable.
By integrating sustainability into both materials and process, my work aligns with organizations and collectors who prioritize environmental responsibility. It serves as a statement—proof that innovation and beauty can emerge from what others overlook.
